With a passion for operational excellence, Mike ensures expectations are exceeded in delivering building operations and facilities maintenance services to our federal and municipal government customers. With a team of over 1,400 skilled employees, Mike's team is responsible for facilities' operations and maintenance, logistics, security, janitorial, and administrative services for millions of square feet of property and facilities.

Operations Expertise in Facilities Services

Mike serves as the senior leader for two EMCOR operating companies. EMCOR Government Services (EGS) provides integrated facilities management services, operations, maintenance, repair renovation, staffing, and other administrative and technical services to over 50 million of square feet of government properties and institutional facilities throughout the United States and overseas. EMCOR Combustioneer is a Washington, DC metropolitan truck based HVAC and critical power service organization. Serving DC, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania, this organization provides HVAC, critical power, water treatment, BAS, EMS, plumbing and minor construction services.

His career began as a Mechanic at Charles E. Smith Management and later at Consolidated Engineering Services, Inc., now an EMCOR company. Holding a variety of positions, Mike enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge with both his team and the marketplace. He holds a Business Administration degree from Southern New Hampshire University, a Masters Certificate in government contracting from George Washington University School of Business and Public Management in Washington DC, BOMI designations as a Systems Maintenance Administrator, Technician and Real Property Administrator, and Certified Plant Engineer, Certified Plant Supervisor and Certified Professional Maintenance Manager designations from the Association of Facilities Engineering. He also holds a Government Operator of High Performance Buildings (GOHP) designation from the Association of Energy Engineers and Association of Facilities Engineering, and maintains several trade licenses.

Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, exercising, listening to audio books and rooting for his favorite sports teams.
